NexusLinguarum organizes a workshop on joining neural approaches for linguistic data on 30 September 2021, which will take place as a hybrid event in Skopje, North Macedonia, as well as online. We invite submissions of short abstracts on novel as well as ongoing work on the topic.

About Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs)
COST actions are about networking, fostering collaboration and advancing research and innovation. Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) constitute a powerful tool designed to serve these objectives. They are mobility grants that support a researcher’s visit to an institute in another COST participating country in order to get trained (or train) on new methods, and techniques, gain access to data and tools not available in their home institute, share knowledge and closely collaborate with researchers of the host institute. STSMs are intended especially, but not solely, for young researchers and can further advance their academic careers.
First steps towards building a community for linguistic data science in Europe and beyond
It has been a while since NexusLinguarum started walking. Our kickoff meeting took place on 28th October 2019 in Brussels, where representatives of the 33 countries constituting the initial network met to discuss the objectives, plans, scope and goals of the different working groups, as well as to elect the action’s management board.
